Lode Water Mill

National Trust Lode Mill is a Grade II listed, undershot water mill dating to the late 18th Century.
Restored in the 20th Century Lode Mill is now a working water mill.
Three storeys high with a lift and lucam - a beam projecting out from the roof that is used to hoist grain. The mill machinery was replaced by W Rawlings whose name is cast in a plate on the cast-iron upright shaft in 1868.
