Panniers Pool
A shallow, rocky pool on the River Dane where historically a stopping place on the old pack horse route allowing horses to rest and drink from the river.
There is a stone bridge here named Pannier's Pool Bridge on the old maps and several, small waterfalls. A great place to stop for a paddle on one of the glorious local walks.
