Peel Monument
Peel Monument or Holcombe Tower is a well-known landmark due to its prominent position on the Hill End part of Harcles or Holcombe Hill.
Completed and openend in 1852 the stone tower is dedicated to Sir. Robert Peel and stands 39 metres high. There is a staircase inside which leads to a viewing platform from where it is said four counties can be seen.
