Cadshaw Brook Waterfall

The Cadshaw Brook waterfall is in a lovely-looking setting, moss-covered rocks, stream bedrock and ferns in their season. Sadly, the waterfall itself is often almost dry - except after the wettest weather. But, it is at such times that a good volume of water can come down moving boulders and blocking the view with fallen logs.
Great for a look if you're passing on a walk round the Turton and Entwistle Reservoir, the other adjacent quarries are also of interest, with the base of an old quarry crane still visible.
